Victory over Eibar (2-1)

FC Badalona Women confirmed their excellent form with a 2-1 win over Eibar in the 18th round of Liga F Moeve. Despite key absences from Berta Pujadas and Antonia Canales, Marc Ballester’s team secured three valuable points against a tough Eibar side, especially challenging when they take the lead.

Indeed, it was the visitors who performed better in the first half, going into halftime with a 1-0 advantage. In the 85th minute, Majarín delivered a corner from the left, and Cubedo executed a perfect header, sending the ball into the back of the net and sparking euphoria among the home fans. After many weeks of seeking a strategic goal, the reward finally came with the Valencian’s strike, earning her the well-deserved MVP of the match.

This victory allowed Badalona Women to climb to seventh place in the table with 26 points, just two points behind fifth-placed Atlético de Madrid.
